Luke Perrys Daughter Sophie Breaks Silence After His Shocking Death Is Grateful For All The Lo

Luke Perry’s daughter, Sophie, has broken her silence on the shocking death of the Hollywood icon.

The 18-year-old used Instagram to share a photo of her and Luke, opening up about the tragic day, as well as thanking those who have reached out with their love and support. Grab those tissues because her message will bring tears even to the coldest of hearts.

“A lot has happened in this past week for me. Everything is happening so fast. I made it back from Malawi just in time to be here with my family,” she began her post.

As previously reported by People magazine, Sophie had been in Africa since January. She immediately rushed back to Los Angeles once she found out about her father’s stroke. The young woman was documenting her journey on social media before going dark as her family deals with this tragedy.

“And in the past 24 hours, I have received an overwhelming amount of love and support. I cannot individually respond to the hundreds of beautiful and heartfelt messages, but I see them and appreciate you all for sending positivity to my family and I,” Sophie continued.

Luke’s daughter, along with her 21-year-old brother Jack, were both with the Beverly Hills 90210 heartthrob when he passed away. Like so many, Sophie does not know what to say or have the words to truly express the harrowing loss she is suffering right now.

“I’m not really sure what to say or do in this situation, it’s something you aren’t ever given a lesson on how to handle, especially when it’s all happening in the public eye. So [bear] with me and know that I am grateful for all the love. Just, being grateful quietly,” she ended her message to the fans who adored and loved her father.
