Sharon Osbourne

Sharon Osbourne is a British talk show host and music manager with an estimated net worth of $220 million. She was born on October 9, 1952 in Brixton, London, England. Her parents were both in the music business her entire life, which is why she is so comfortable in the life now. Don Arden is her father, and he was a music promoter for rock and roll bands. Her mother, is Hope and she helped in the family business in addition to raising their children. She met and married her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, when she was only 18. She met him through her father, who was the manager of Black Sabbath at the time.

They were married three years later after Osbourne was kicked out of the group. She began to manage his career and they took off to make money on their own. Together, they have three children. Daughter Aimee is the oldest and she has no interest in the public lifestyle. Their son Jack and daughter Kelly, though, both work in the hosting world and in reality television with the rest of the family, which is just another way that they make money together.

Sharon Osbourne has been very famous for her health. She’s had lap band surgery which resulted in her losing more than 100 pounds. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2002 and had surgery to remove it. She did not speak much of her diagnosis, and only really opened up about it later when she announced that it was colon cancer that had spread to her lymph nodes. She then had a double mastectomy in 2012 after it was discovered she carries a gene for breast cancer.

She has taken her near miraculous cancer survival story and turned it into ample charity work so that she can help other women and men who are going through the same things she went through, and she’s really made a name for herself in the charity world.

For decades, she’s been married to famous singer Ozzy Osbourne, with whom she has had her share of ups and downs. She has admitted many times in the press that their marriage almost ended on several occasions, though they always managed to work things out between them. However, the couple announced in mid-2016 that they’ve decided to part ways and file for divorce after decades of marriage, a tumultuous battle with drug and alcohol abuse and much more. Whether or not she will remain his manager is unknown at this point in time.

Most of Sharon Osbourne’s net worth comes from her career as soon-to-be ex-husband Ozzy Osbourne’s manager. Once he left Black Sabbath and began his career on his own, she managed him and helped him to earn millions of dollars or his own without the rest of the band there to back him and help with his own net worth. Additionally, she has been the host of “The Talk” for more than six years now, and that is a job that pays her a staggering $1 million per year.
