Walking Deads Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun Rescue Car Crash Victim

No zombies? No problem. Walking Dead stars Norman Reedus and Steven Yeun became real-life heroes on Thursday, May 12, when they helped rescue a car crash victim from an accident that took place near their Peachtree City, Georgia, set.

The actors, both clad head-to-toe in black, were riding their motorcycles close by when they came upon the crash and immediately sprang into action.

Though the injuries were fairly minor, according to TMZ, the costars stayed at the scene until paramedics arrived to sort everything out.

In March, Reedus’ onscreen character, Daryl Dixon, was shockingly shot by Dwight (Austin Amelio), causing an uproar amongst dedicated fans of the hit AMC show.

Reedus, 47, didn’t offer too much more clarity in a subsequent interview, creating even more intrigue for fans.

“Well, it’s exactly what you see,” the actor told Entertainment Weekly. “I mean, that’s Daryl’s blood that you see. That’s exactly what happens, exactly what you see. So that’s the world that we live in.”

In November, Yeun’s character, Glenn Rhee, also looked to be dead after a particularly gory orgy of walkers seemed to be noshing on his organs. Later on, it was revealed that Glenn had in fact survived the scary incident by hiding beneath the newly dead body of his friend, Nicholas (Michael Traynor) and then a dumpster.
